Step 1: Install and Activate Duplicate Page Plugin

To install the plugin, go to Plugins > Add New, search for “Duplicate Page,” and click Install Now. Once the plugin is installed, click Activate.

Step 2: Duplicate a Page

Now that the plugin is activated, go to Pages > All Pages in the WordPress dashboard. Hover over the page you want to duplicate and click the “Duplicate This” link that appears.

  Step 1: Install and Activate Yoast Duplicate Post

To install the plugin, go to Plugins > Add New. Search for Yoast Duplicate Post by By Enrico Battocchi & Team Yoast

Check the boxes next to the pages title , that you want to clone at once. Then, click on the bulk actions dropdown and select “Clone“.

How To Duplicate a Page or a Post in Elementor?

If you want to replicate existing pages or posts via Elementor page builder but wondering why. Let me quickly walk you through the swift process of creating and inserting the post or page template into your new page/post file.

Create and Save a page/post template

Navigate to Posts>> All Posts or Pages >> All Pages based on your requirement

Click on ” Edit with Elementor ” just below the title of your Post or Page.

You will be directed to Elementor Page builder panel. At the bottom of the Elementor Panel, click on the upward caret icon ^ just next to UPDATE button.

Finally, click on Save as Template option. Then, name your template and click on SAVE.

Navigate to Posts >> Add New or Pages >> Add New based on what you want to clone.

Then Edit the newly created post or page by clicking on “ Edit with Elementor “.

Then under the My templates Tab, look out for your saved template. Then, click on Insert and apply the changes.

How to Duplicate a Page or Post in WordPress via WP Page Builder?

Not to confuse WPBakery with WP Page Builder, both are popular drag and drop page builder plugins.

While WP Page Builder is free of cost, WP Bakery comes with two premium options.

In case you have implemented WP Page Builder to create your posts and pages and want to replicate existing pages or posts, then fret not! I am about to tell you the quickest way to do that.

First navigate to Posts >> All Posts or Pages >> All Pages based on what you want to clone.

Hover over the title of your post or page you want to duplicate, and click on ‘Edit with WP Page Builder‘ just below the title.

You will be directed to WP Page Builder editor.

Under the WP Page Builder Tab, there are list of menu icons stacked on top of each other as a sticky sidebar.

Click on Tools >> Export. Your post or page then will saved as a JSON file.

Notice the name assigned to your JSON file and also make note of location where your JSON file is stored.

Now that you have exported your post or page, you can easily duplicate it by creating a new wordpress post or page and importing the saved JSON file.

To create a replica of your wordpress post or page, Navigate to Posts >> Add New or Pages >> Add New depending on what you want to replicate.

Now, click on Edit with WP Page builder. And, navigate to Tools >> Import.

You can browse the location where you previously exported your JSON file and import the same file to make a replica of that post or page here.

Note: My JSON file was saved as Export-255 in Downloads by my browser

After you open the JSON file, you would have successfully made a brand new clone of your post or page via WP Page Builder plugin.
